Position Summary

Senior Developer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining many applications in the GWIM space.

* Developer will work closely with business partners, PM, BA and testing teams and expected to perform Software development, design, code, test, debug and document programs.
* Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Individual contributor role.
* Candidate should be able to quickly analyze the impact of any change requested, propose solutions and implement it.
* Person should be able to propose and work with new technology as needed, fully seasoned/proficient technical resource.
* Developer needs to collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application.
* Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities.
* Ability to communicate in group settings as well as ability to collaborate within a team.
* Must be able to handle multiple assignments and adapt to a constantly changing and fast-paced environment.
* Fast learner, self-motivated, prioritizing efficiently and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience
* Can work under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned team leads.
* Typically requires 10+ years of experience in Software design and development.

Required Skills

10 years or more experience in designing and developing large scale applications using Mainframe technologies Cobol 5, DB2 and CICS
2 years or more experience in Mainframe Modernization initiatives
2 years or more experience in OmniPay Product Knowledge and Employee Benefit Trust (EBT)/Pension business
10+ years or more experience in SQL / Relation Databases ( DB2) and VSAM
10 years or more experience in version control systems (Endevor or GIT)
Must have excellent communication and documentation skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Desired Skills

2 years Experience using Core Java
2 years Mainframe Modernization Tools
