PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers.

Requisition Summary

The Senior Materials Data Analyst ensure Dealers have the correct parts on the shelf to ensure Truck unit Uptime. This will be accomplished by developing new data pipelines and architecture to deliver data insights to Inventory Planners and Management.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

* Develop Atomization of Manual Reports currently generated by Department Data Analysts by using clustering, decision tree learning and other machine learning techniques
* Correctly Identify new schemas and data sources to reach new insights into inventory management processes using machine learning techniques and algorithms
* Develop and Implement Statistical Models like regressions and distributions to optimize dealer inventory levels
* Ensure Data Integrity is intact, by processing, cleansing techniques
* Assist in Department Wide Initiatives with Data Mining Initiatives
* Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in Data Analytics
* Self-directed individual able to address multiple priorities within a dynamic and technical environment
* Ability to make decisions and use judgment/take action independently
* Ability to use interpersonal skills and work as a team member
* Ability to perform some advanced level math (data and/or number manipulation)
* Ability to Take Complex Data Sets and present in Tableau desired
* Familiarity with advanced inventory planning systems (JDA) beneficial but not required
* Familiarity with R Studio, Python and Snowflake desired
