We are seeking a UX Researcher who will play a critical role in driving product decisions and formulate the North Star vision for the Smart Campus team by delivering creative, agile, and strategic research outcomes that directly impact the users. You will have a deep focus on identifying real problems to solve and uncovering unmet needs that will inform the company's strategy for reimagining the employee experience. In this role, you will become a trusted, strategic partner to product stakeholders by delivering actionable insights that help define the modern state of the art workplace at Microsoft.

Influential UX researcher who understands the product making experience to draw upon as you provide research expertise to your project space
* Balance both agile and strategic research methods to influence product direction and overall user experience
* Develop and deliver user research plans and strategies, prioritizing research needs, and creating clarity in ambiguous spaces
* Deep analytical and synthesis skills with a proven ability to turn research results into product insights
* Build strong trust-based relationships with stakeholders to communicate the highest value of Research
* Work Closely with multiple disciplines on shared goals and influence of business stakeholders
* Design and conduct generative research to understand pain points and unmet needs, and evaluate user experience concepts, prototypes, and experiences to influence your product areau202Fu202F
* Bring insights to life to drive our Design and Engineering organizations by focusing on the right problems to solveu202F
* Own the customer findings in your areas and evangelize the customer to Design and Engineering teamsu202Fu202F
* Drive product decisions and design directions by being part of the decision-making process with your insights
* Collaborate with other UX Researchers and Designers to leverage and build upon knowledge.
* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a UX Research role on a product teamu202F
* Well established portfolio of research techniques from ethnography, field studies, interviews to usability studies, concept validation, user journey mapping, surveys, and competitive analysisu202Fu202F
* Deep analytical and synthesis skills with a proven ability to turn research results into actionable product insightsu202F
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A minimum of Master's degree in HCI, ethnography, cognitive or experimental psychology, sociology, or human factors OR a BA/BS in one of the above fields with academic or industry experienceu202F
