Job Description:
* Planner/Material Coordinator Multi-function
* Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production demands and directs material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of raw and approved finished goods materials timed to meet production requirements.
* Advises management of the status of work in progress (WIP), coordinates with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain and interfaces with engineering and program management as well as external customers.
* Converts engineering drawings into work instructions and bills of material driving procurement, shop fabrication, assembly and HDL installation.
Essential Functions:
* Experience in the review of maintenance/modification requirements for contractual activities for aircraft maintenance projects through the interpretation of program Statements of Work (SOW), engineering drawings, technical manuals, directives, and other specifications
* Experience in SAP, Solumina, Excel, MS Word, MS Project, TeamCenter Unified, Labor Tracking System.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
* Since we are a cleared facility, you must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Additional Skills:
* Ability to participate in discussions with customers both internal and external regarding contractual maintenance/modification requirements and process for production and shop floor.
