Job Summary

We are hiring a full-time Flight Standardization and Evaluation (USEM) for our Initial Flight Training (IFT) Program for the United States Air Force (USAF) located in Pueblo, CO. The Certified Flight Instructor provides training, evaluates performance and serves as a mentor/professional developer to new military aviators.

Responsibilities:

* Facilitate the continuous cross-flow of information between Stan/Eval and the flight. Ensure that the Flight Publications Library is current. Conduct stand-up emergency procedures (Standup EP) training during the formal briefing. Administer Emergency Procedures Quizzes (EPQs). Fly two student sorties per day. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent
* Experience: 2-3 Years
* License(s)/Certificate(s): Current FAA CFI Certificate w/ Airplane Single Engine Land Privileges
* Minimum requirements: 100 dual hours instruction given, Class III Medical

Preferred Qualifications:

* Recent Military Undergraduate Flight Training experience as a fully-qualified instructor, or fully-qualified flight instructor teaching technologically advanced aircraft in large Part 141 flight school.
* Computer Skills: Microsoft Office
* Working conditions include outdoors, hangar, office, ramp, aircraft, classroom
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
* Work Schedule: Full time; typically, Mon - Fri between 5:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Occasional Saturdays. Occasional nights.
* Other Details: Must have FAA Class 3 Medical certificate
