Dr.Jart+ is a Korean born skincare brand positioned to become the leader in global life-enriching derma skincare, highlighting the brand's unique combination of science and art. The brand emphasizes its hero strategy or 'hit albums' for franchises such as Cicapair and Ceramidin. Dr. Jart+ is a brand tailored to Millennials and Gen Z, and therefore driving online is a key strategic channel. This opportunity will adapt and localize the brand's cutting-edge Korean innovation, legendary speed-to-market, and engaging digital and social content for Western markets.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President/General Manager Dr. Jart+ North America, this position will sit in the US and focus on all Western Markets. This position will concept, manage and write product copy for Dr Jart+ for use across all consumer touchpoints inclusive of visual merchandising, online, organic and paid media. This role will collaborate on requests and integrate feedback from various departments including eCommerce, Consumer Engagement, Product Development, Social/Digital, and Visual Merchandising to develop product descriptions and bring concepts to life and ensure cohesiveness of voice and messaging.

About the Job and Responsibilities:

Storytelling

Act as primary writer creating new launch and re-promoting copy across all platforms to ensure consistency in brand messaging

Adopts a 360 mindset to storytelling, with an emphasis on social/digital and eCommerce, in line with brand voice and marketing trends

Develops distinctive storytelling viewpoints in line with copy briefs

Connects the dots to support telling a consistent, cohesive and compelling story across all mediums

Lead the ideation, creation, and execution of copy and content across all consumer touchpoints - bringing campaigns and consumer experiences to life through words

Work closely with Global and Regional Marketing and Creative teams to craft content strategy that supports brand mission and business objectives while maintaining regional relevancy.

Benefit Communication
Conveys product benefits independently in a concise, consumer-first manner while expressing the brand personality

Thinks of ways to improve product communication at every touch point to better resonate with target consumers

Brand Voice
Tailors copy to specific target consumer profiles while maintaining brand equity (with input from senior Creatives, Marketing, Product Development)

Applies consumer insights to developing copy

Brings a fresh voice while respecting and staying true to the legacy of the brand

A passion for great copy in all its forms and the power that it has to inspire and delight

Copyedit and proofread all product descriptions to professional standards when required

Analyze customer reviews to address callouts and gain insights for current and future copy

Qualifications
Qualifications:

About You
10+ years' experience

360 storytelling with a conversational, expertise-driven and authentic voice

Consumer-first benefit and product communication

Concise, 3-5 word stories

Writing for emerging social/online platforms (is a plus)

Understanding of skincare terms to convey benefits

Digital media/agency background (is a plus)

Scrappy collaborator, able to shift gears quickly and pro-actively solution oriented

Passionate about skincare and the Dr. Jart+ consumer (is a plus)

Familiarity with Korean language and Korean culture a plus
