Senior Systems Administrator sought by DISH Network, LLC in Englewood, Colorado. Perform system administration tasks in RHEL and CentOS 6/7 systems; install, configure, troubleshoot, monitor, document, administer, and architect critical Linux-based systems and complex computational environments; architect, implement, and support cloud, on-prem, and hybrid solutions; perform process automation, including using Chef for configuration management; manage user accounts using PowerBroker Identity Services/Active Directory and OpenLDAP; design, implement and test disaster recovery solutions; troubleshoot hardware issues on HPE and Sun servers.
Position requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science,
Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field, plus 5 years of Linux/Unix system administration experience in job offered or as Associate Team Lead. Will accept 3-year or 4-year Bachelor's degree. Also requires 5 years of experience using the following tools/technologies (which may be obtained concurrently): RHEL, VMware, Solaris, and HP-UX. Requires 1 year of experience with PowerBroker Identity Services (PBIS), PowerBroker for Unix & Linux (PBUL) and ServiceNow.
