Job Summary
Reporting to the Director you will lead multiple advisory and assurance projects. You will provide recommendations to management while maintaining a strong control environment, as well as review and advise team on complex and interpretive analysis and execute reviews throughout the company. You will spend a significant amount of time leading and developing audit staff and building relationships with management throughout the organization. Minimum 7 years of related experience.
Position Responsibilities
* Develop and review pre-planning, planning, fieldwork, and reporting for assigned audit projects
* Lead integrated audits specific to Information Technology and pre and post system implementation reviews, including understanding of project management tools, assessment of project and IT risks, and development of audit procedures
* Experience with data management including data risks and privacy laws in performing risk assessment and audit planning
* Identify opportunities for automation, data analytics and visualization including continuous auditing
* Participate in IT risk assessment processes to help develop the annual audit plan
* Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities to improve their effectiveness and efficiency
* Responsible for developing and maintaining schedules of resources
* Manage, lead, train and develop audit staff; participate in recruiting efforts as needed
* Establish and maintain key relationships throughout the organization
* Participate in assigned other tasks or special projects such as due diligence reviews and other ad-hoc requests
* Execute departmental strategic initiatives
* Implement changes to the Internal Audit methodology and technology as required
Position Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance or related field is required
* 7+ years of relevant public accounting, internal audit, or other relevant experience is required
* CISA, CISM, CISSP, CPA and/or CIA strongly preferred
* IT risk assessment and IT audit experience preferred
* Understanding of prominent IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT, ISO and NIST, strongly preferred
* Knowledge of one or more IT audit areas of specialty (i.e., application security, business continuity and disaster recovery, implementation, computer operations, database administration, information security and privacy, mainframe, network, and infrastructure architecture) is required
* Experience with analytics solutions, data and reporting architecture and associated tools preferred
* Experience in Public Accounting, Fortune 500 and/or manufacturing environment preferred
* Experience managing and leading teams is required
* Strong command of business process analysis is required
* Proficient analytical and interpersonal skills are required
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% is required
