Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, collaborative, and experienced attorney to join our dynamic team in Comcast Cable Legal Departments Advanced Advertising Group. This role will report to the Deputy General Counsel, Advanced Advertising.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Counsel and advise Comcasts advanced advertising division, responsible for delivering technology that enables multi-platform, data-driven advertising campaigns across the television ecosystem, regarding legal requirements and considerations involving advertising, advanced advertising and technology across a wide range of product offerings and content distribution platforms.
* Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including but not limited to, agreements related to technology platforms, enterprise software licensing, consulting and professional services and product development for television, internet and mobile products and services primarily in the areas of advertising and ad tech.
* Provide legal advice to Comcast executives on day-to-day advertising and advanced advertising platforms and technology and related matters.
* Act as point person and coordinate with others within the Legal Department on privacy, intellectual property, anti-trust law and other issues that arise in connection with advanced advertising business.
* Operate with minimal supervision and coordinate legal functions with other departments affected by the matter/issue.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Minimum 3-5 years experience; either gained in-house corporate legal department or at a law firm.
* JD Required. Top 20% of class and law review preferred.
* Significant experience negotiating commercial transactions and counseling clients in the areas of advertising, software licensing and development, and advertising technology.
* Review, draft and negotiate various types of agreements (e.g., vendor/service provider agreements, customer agreements, data processing, data transfer, and data usage agreements, etc.).
* Knowledge of the advertising and ad tech ecosystem preferred.
* Knowledge of media, internet and mobile law, business and technologies.
* Experience in providing counsel on data privacy laws, including the GDPR, CCPA and self-regulatory organizations such as IAB, and information security laws preferred.
* Ability to work effectively with senior management and operations personnel simultaneously; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality work product.
* Ability to support a fast paced entrepreneurial business.
* Comfortable working across practice groups, gathering feedback and spotting issues outside primary area of responsibility.
* Member of a state bar in good standing, Pennsylvania preferred.
