Colgate-Palmolive invites applications for the position of Collaboration Development Intern for the Global Information Technology (GIT) organization. This intern will join the Collaboration Team and focus on developing solutions to provide automation for support tasks that are currently done as manual processes. This internship will also be called on in various capacities to help with our Collaboration Tools Portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

* Gain an understanding of Colgates Collaboration Portfolio

* Serve as lead developer on project to automate the creation of Google Groups based on a variety of criteria and build a front end to allow business users to build their own automatically maintained groups

* Design work for this project is already underway

* More experienced collaboration team members will work closely with this individual every step of the way

* Support our Google Collaboration Platform as needed

* Provide end user training in Google Drive as needed

* Other development projects as needed

Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program
* Majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business/ IT Systems Management, or a related field
* A minimum GPA of 2.8
* Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
* Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week with opportunity to work up to 40 hours
* Strong technical knowledge

* Strong oral & written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms

* Strong analytical, problem solving & conceptual skills

* Basic Knowledge in Windows, Windows Servers, networking. knowledge in .Net, Visual C ++ or other programming languages a plus.

* Google AppScript or Javascript preferred, GCP web site UI development
