We are building a new multidisciplinary team in Citi Ventures Studio to promote the use of technology in reducing bias and delivering more equitable outcomes to communities of color. This team will have a dual focus on inclusive user experience and the role of data in reducing bias in creating equity, and will be a

We are looking for an experienced and empathic Product Design Lead to join the Ventures Studio team. You will help define solutions that empower people and communities of color, and help to establish a center of excellence with standards and best practices on technology, data, and racial equity for the whole organization. This role will report to the Head of Design in Citi Ventures Studio.
What youll be doing
* You will work within a multidisciplinary team and lead our efforts to design artifacts that contain toolkit / standards / set of best practices that can help the organization reduce bias and deliver equitable outcomes for communities of color.
* You will have a dual focus on inclusive product design and be an evangelist that is able to build relations and champion this initiative in a large organization.
* You will contribute to the evolution of our existing products by finding opportunities that are tied to the Racial Equity initiative and you will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, user researchers, data scientists and product managers to envision and execute impactful product experiences.
* You will work closely with the Head of Design and User Research Manager to define design territories and strategic opportunities.
* You will guide a small team of designers to deliver on the initiative goals.
* You will present and communicate your work and rationale to key stakeholders and senior leadership.
What were looking for
* Has at least 7+ years of professional experience working in product design roles.
* You know what it takes to conceive, develop and launch successful products that are inclusive and driven by a positive impact mission.
* You have experience in creating standards, best practices, toolkits, design systems that were used for organizational and cultural change.
* Drive and knowledge around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work and thinking.
* An outstanding portfolio, demonstrating skills in end-to-end UX/UI and product design. Priority for case studies that are relevant to the Racial Equity Initiative at Citi.
* Highly fluent in state-of-the-art design tools.
* Ability to self-manage, self-motivate and deal with complexity and ambiguity.
* An empathetic champion for our stakeholders and users, and a team player.
* Experience working with and presenting to senior leadership and driving / evangelizing organizational and cultural change.
* Excellent organization and communication skills, and detail-oriented.
