Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for an entry level Electronics Design and Analysis Engineer to join the Missiles and Weapons Systems (MWS) Electrical Engineering Team in Huntsville, Alabama. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development of electronic architecture and detailed specifications for various electronic products.

The MWS organization is dynamic and growing with a leadership team focused on attracting and developing top talent in support of critical missions for National Defense and Strategic Deterrence. Connected to our customers' missions, we deliver unique capability through our exceptional talent. The programs that we support in Huntsville, Alabama include Ground-based Midcourse Defense, Next Gen Interceptor, precision-guided munitions, and Integrated Air & Missile Defense products (PAC-3, Avenger, ABMD); Missile Defense Agency National Team (Systems Engineering, C2BMC), and Strategic Deterrence Systems (which includes Minuteman ICBM support and guidance system repair).

Primary Responsibilities

* Assists in development of electronic architecture and detailed specifications for various electronic products.
* Assists in development of detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.
* Conducts various methods of testing and analysis to support design.
* Gathers data for technical performance measures.
* Assists in providing engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
* Assists with trade studies and literature research to support future product designs.
* Works under close supervision

Basic (Required) Qualifications

* A bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate across multiple disciplines with internal and external customers
* Computer proficiency and ability to use and navigate the internet and various computer software programs (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite)
* Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret technical data
* Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings
* Knowledge and ability in the design and/or analysis of electrical systems

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. A bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering is required for this position.

Other Relevant Information and Requirements:

* This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.)
* This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
* This position is for 1st shift.
