SHAPE THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY FROM DAY ONE.

This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment and is located in Cupertino, CA.

Responsibilities:

* Obtain customer information for new designs. Communicate using established methods.
* Attend meetings and events as requested on time and prepared.
* Work with engineers (product and plant) on harness partitioning, packaging in vehicle, bundle sizes and routings to ensure robustness.
* Work with subsystem engineers to support them in completing their specifications.
* Efficiency studies to reduce both cost and mass when requested.
* Understand and suggest best electrical connection systems to ensure system robustness.
* Leverage Aptiv skill sets as needed to guarantee best harness designs are provided to customer.
* Ensure Compliance with customer specific requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
* At least 5 years experience in automotive wire harnesses, electrical distribution systems, related subject matter.
* Team orientated and extroverted.
* Willing to relocate to customer location (Bay Area, CA).
* Strong Communication (written and verbal). Includes running coordination meetings.
* Strong organizational skills to ensure needed product changes are executed as instructed.
* Experience in fast pace environment either with startups or another supplier, good face to face skills and project management.
* Strong and thorough decision maker.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in High Voltage Automotive connections & Wiring.
* Work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
* Ability to speak/write in Spanish.
