Oversee master schedule. Drives demand for MPP slots via sales order or planning BOMs. Adjusts sales orders and BOM dates as slot dates are adjusted or added. Creates and maintains customer specific planning BOMs, stock config planning BOMs and customer specific long lead planning BOMs. Adjusts planning BOMs as ECOs obsoletes parts and adds new.
Interfaces with Sales Operations Manager, reviewing customer requirements, request dates and capacity constraints. Performs change analysis in Rapid Response as reassignment and slot adds are requested. Sends potential shortages to purchasing to obtain confirmation that materials can be expedited to support the requests.
Opens top level machine shop orders so materials can be requested to be picked by Production when needed. Familiarity with multi-level BOM structures and Order BOM structures. Work with Production and Production Planners to help resolve PBO and structure issues.
Rapid Response simulation of PBO changes and then adjusts reservations on open machine shop orders for those changes. Communicate buy changes to purchasing.
Ensures BOM accuracy through comparisons to prior tool shipments
Interfaces with Singapore planners and drop ship suppliers to make sure all are in sync with Gloucester machine builds. Coordinates the build of Pre ships with Production ahead of tool builds.
Supports NPI to Production crossover for new machine products. Work with NPI planner to ensure routings and lead times are correct.
