* Strong background in at least 2 of analog electronics, imaging, digital signal processing, estimation, or sensing
* Multi-disciplinary understanding of EE, ME, and Physics principles
* High proficiency in prototyping/analysis scripting languages like MATLAB/Python
* Experience in mathematical modeling of complex cross-disciplinary systems
* Experience with sensor interfacing, signal conditioning, and signal-to-noise analysis
* Hands-on experience in system-level design
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent critical analysis, statistical analysis, and logic/problem solving skills
Description
Description
You will be developing and validating advanced architectures to ensure sensor system performance. This will involve developing comprehensive sensor system models with block-level simulations of sensor modules. You will engage in sensor technology scoping and prototyping investigations, as well as design and specify new sensing architectures. You will design overall solutions involving the full stack of sensor and algorithms. Development and negotiation of cross-functional requirements to ensure module performance will be a key part of the role, and as such you will collaborate closely with Mechanical Engineering, Firmware Engineering, and Electrical Engineering teams, to create state-of-the-art sensor solutions. Further responsibilities include: Develop detailed sensor module and algorithm architecture specifications Analyze engineering and production data sets in order to reconcile system model Author regular technical communications for executive and cross-functional briefings Failure mode analysis, root cause diagnosis, and system-level problem solving

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics, plus 3 years industry experience
