The Apple Development Center team is looking for a passionate project manager who loves technology and believes in the impact that Apple products can have on education and the developer community. We are looking for a standout colleague with a strong background in technology and project management and a desire to work together to empower communities. In this role, you will drive and execute a world class iOS University app development project and will be the interface between the project requirements and the universities selected to implement the program. Our team works across multiple external partners and cross functional teams consisting of university personnel, vendors, Government and Apple partners to define the project scope and deliver results.



Key Qualifications

* Excellent project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution, change management, and risk management.
* Prior experience implementing projects with a 12-16 month duration preferred
* Experience with Contracts, Purchase Orders and Budget management a must-have.
* Experience leading implementation challenges in the area of architectural, design, integration, and infrastructure.
* Ability to function effectively under tight and compressed timelines
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Experience in executing training programs preferred.
* Proficiency in Mac OS X, Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Excel and Word preferred
* Ability to create project plans and handle tight deadlines
* Experience with running complex projects preferred
* Knowledge of Apple Internal systems a plus

Description

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for handling the purchase orders, donation requests and contracts. You will participate in the development of university facilities. Your responsibilities include defining the project scope, reviewing architecture and detail design, formulating and executing project plans, and guiding the cross-functional project teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial to this position and heavy interaction within Apple and with third parties on an ongoing basis. You expertly work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction.
