Principal Process Manager

The PowerUp Experience Delivery (PXD) Teams responsibility is to connect users in the Capital One enterprise with simple to use, digitally enriched experiences that are designed to maximize associate productivity. In this role you will:

* Advocate for the end user and solving for the right problems

* Manage and conduct user research and concept development

* Scope projects and know what methodologies to use to achieve business goals

* Work with multi-disciplinary teams (researchers, design, development, data, and change management) to solve problems

* Lead study planning activities from recruiting, scheduling, and session setup

* Synthesize research findings and effectively communicate research insights in ways that make them easily accessible and actionable by various stakeholders, such as through visual information design

* Facilitate studies in person and remotely

* Optimize methodologies, tools, standards, and best practices for user research.

* Evangelize for user experience within the appropriate lines of business

* Review footage from user studies and work with other researchers to create videos showcasing findings

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelors degree or military experience

* At least 2 years of research and analysis experience, with a mix of quantitative and qualitative methodologies

* At least 2 years of experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data

* At least 2 years facilitating user research studies

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in Behavioral Science, Computer Science (with Human-Computer Interaction focus), Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Cognitive Science/Neural Science, or Psychology

* 2+ years of experience with Human Centered Design, Design Thinking or study facilitation

* 1 year of experience with Lean UX and working with multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, and product owners

* 1 year of experience with Qualtrics, Jira, Optimal Workshop, Morae, Confluence, video editing software, and/or Mural
