Our TSG Production Services team provides a full IT service management life-cycle across all TSG applications and infrastructure support. Our mission is to provide a controlled, secure, and predictable production environment.
The Role
As a Critical Infrastructure Technical Service Lead responsibility will include the operational onboarding/ Service Transformation of services from engineering to production and review of Critical Infrastructure services stability and architectural review. Services include Privilege access Management, Windows, Kerberos, Unix security platforms, and PKI services.
Key Responsibilities:

* Engage and partner with Operational leads with the teams to build, deploy, and maintain critical infrastructure components across application portfolio in highly virtualized environment.

* Exercise core technical capabilities across Linux, active directory, LDAP, monitoring, service management, containerized app platforms to diagnose, troubleshoot, and provide technical operational guidance.
t
* Build a program which sets an example and challenges other teams to improve operational visibility, advocacy, and communication across organization verticals.
t
* Drive cross-functional engagements focused on delivering continuous improvements including product/service, performance, and operational enhancements.
t
* Leverage data to drive improvement. Development, delivery and maturation of portfolio spanning KPIs/metrics spanning areas of availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning.

* Provides analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support for application/infrastructure systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, software, hardware, technology, tools, etc.

* Define and champion operational process and enforce structure, including documentation, training and runbooks, escalations, RCAs and post-mortems to ensure systems are well understood and work smoothly, and recover gracefully.

* Ensure application and infrastructure environments and operations conform to governing enterprise standards including monitoring compliance, proper change management procedures, capacity planning, and disaster recovery readiness.

* Work with the Operational counter parts to ensure the 24/7 critical production platforms have the appropriate expertise and supporting processes prior to permit to operate. This includes documentation, runbooks and updated architectural reference materials. Drive continued focus on delivering/documenting automated recovery from failure.
Provides input into Infrastructure Operations strategy. Advises specialists on areas to focus installation and support efforts. Works with Principal to ensure operations are consistent with LOB and organization wide goals. Reports performance to other LOB leaders. Identifies and solves the most complex and critical systems related issues to meet the objectives for the corporation. Uses expertise to provide input into software strategic planning and consulting on platform selection, version implementation, software product recommendation, and usage of enhanced functionality. Reviews reports on current installations, modifications, etc. to ensure firm wide goals are being met. Implements, integrates and provides support for middleware software in a multi-tiered, multi-platform environment, dealing with development projects that have a broad impact across the organization. Provides senior-level consulting expertise in identifying and solving highly-critical middleware issues and serves as a senior-level resource on middleware issues related to policies and standards that impact middleware specialist and application support staffs across the corporation. Communicates with internal and external system users to address concerns and make sure that technical issues are dealt with appropriately. Manages ticket queues and handles the most complex escalated issues. Analyzes repeat incident patterns to identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity enhancements. Manages relationships with vendors and works with them to ensure efficient incident resolution. Contributes to the achievement of Infrastructure Operations objectives. Responsible for budget activity. MODIFIED BASED UPON LOCAL REGULATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred 12 + years of related infrastructure experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus

* 10+ years relevant industry experience working on regulated, high-volume, high-availability infrastructure/applications.

* Engaged technologist with a passion for experimentation and innovation with ideal background spanning Systems Engineering/Administration, DevOps, Software Engineering.

* 4+ years of experience building best practices for technology operations teams.
t
* Data and process oriented individual and extensive technical background.
t
* Experience with database, monitoring/data aggregation tools and platforms such as Tableau, Splunk and other data aggregation and analytics tools.

* Strong technology management fundamentals and a solid working knowledge of modern/Agile software development principles and Microservice architectures.

* Highly skilled at optimizing enterprise orchestration and automation practices.
