What this job involves

JLL Technologies Enterprise Data team is a newly established central organization

that oversees JLLs data strategy. We are seeking data professionals to work with

our colleagues at JLL around the globe in providing solutions, developing new

products, building enterprise reporting & analytics capability to reshape the

business of Commercial Real Estate using the power of data and we are just getting

started on that journey!

We are looking for a senior frontend engineer to join our data application

engineering team to help us solve the How. The ideal candidate will have in-depth

experience in data products which will play a critical role in data transformation

journey.

As a Senior Frontend Application Engineer at JLL Technologies, you will:

* Write beautiful high-quality, high-performance, maintainable
* JavaScript/CSS/Html code
* Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to create responsive,
* mobile first UI
* Test your code using Test Drive Development, writing both unit and functional
* tests
* Implement, deploy, learn, iterate on new features and experiences in fast
* cycles
* Contribute to design and code reviews; identify best practices for frontend
* engineering

What we are looking for:

* Expert knowledge of JavaScript and web technologies (HTML/CSS)
* Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
* Experience with current JavaScript libraries, such as ReactJS. Vue / Angular
* Experience with REST and service-based architectures.
* Exposure to mobile web development, touch interfaces and responsive
* design
* Strong foundation of object oriented programming.
* Strong communication skills; attention to detail and discipline
* Experience with Responsive Web development
* Good eye for UI/UX design and working from a style guide and Invision
* Experience with Node.js a plus
