Job Description
Highway Products is searching for an Entry Auto Welder in our Pell City, AL plant. As an Auto Welder, you will manufacture highway crash cushion products made from various combinations of steel per print specifications.
Highway Products division is Ahead of the Curve in safety and innovation as a leading manufacturer of highway guardrail, highway guardrail end treatments, temporary and permanent crash cushions, truck-mounted attenuators, and cable barrier systems.
Monday - Thursday: 4:30PM -3:30AM
What youll do:
* Assemble and tack-weld according to technical drawings using acceptable robotic welding technique
* Set up, adjust, and operate robotic welding equipment
* Visually inspect weld quality
* Safely operate pallet jacks and other load engaging equipment
* Maintain and complete all production tracking documentation
* Perform other duties as assigned
What Youll Need:
* Ability to perform basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
* Ability to set up, adjust, and operate various electric, pneumatic, and other hand tools
* Comprehend hazardous material warning labels, handling procedures, and plant safety instruction
* Ability to locate and identify proper material
* Ability to perform duties safely
* Ability to follow directions and maintain a professional work environment
* Regular and predictable attendance
