What youll do on a typical day:
* Work in conjunction with the Senior HR Generalist to support headquarters in all HR matters, including employee relations, compensation and talent management
* Oversee Ethics Point cases including assignment, completion and case audits
* Project Management such as incentive programs, talent management, etc.
* Answer questions from employees related to standard policies such as benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refer more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management
* Perform audits of missed punches and other anomalies within Kronos to ensure accurate payroll and reduce risk for the company
* Assist with the implementation and administration of services, policies and programs aimed at maintaining a safe, positive environment in the company
* Complete periodic audits of employee information including employment, compensation, certification and status-change data; advise business partners on policies and operating practices
* Ensure compliance, training and oversight on policies and procedures
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, youll need:
* 2 years of experience in human resources
* Knowledge of basic business and customer service principles, including planning, organizing and resource management
* Availability to travel upon request
Itd be great if you also have:
* Associate degree in Human Resources or a business-related field
* PHR/SHRM certification
* Experience with HRIS programs such as Kronos and SuccessFactors (SAP), and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
* Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills
* The self-motivation to work well with minimal supervision in a team environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Outstanding interpersonal skills; able to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally
