Lockheed Martin is seeking a QA Engineer for a position in Ocala, FL.
This role:
Reviews documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.
Analyzes and resolves process issues varying from basic to very complex.
Attends and leads program corrective action meeting, identifies trends, assists in problem resolution and insures responsible parties meet commitments.
Participates as an active member of Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards which includes dispositioning non-conforming hardware, identifying hardware containment requirements, identifying appropriate root cause and corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence.
Performs assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO-9001/AS9100.
Interfaces with customers, suppliers and program personnel on quality related issues.
Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.
Makes the final decision on acceptability of product.
This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Desired Skills:
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Previous Quality Engineering experience
CQE (certified quality engineer)
CCA (circuit card assembly) or electronics experience
Understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques
Green Belt Certification
