As a member of the Corporate Finance team, the Treasury Manager will be responsible for supporting Lears global Financial Risk Management and Capital Markets Treasury functions. The primary focus will include daily Risk Management activities and strategic long-term objectives for both teams. The position will also lead and/or support specific cross-functional Treasury focused projects.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Financial Risk Management

* Support daily derivative trading, hedging and settlement activities
* Review and report the drivers of FX other gains and losses; including propose action items to reduce or eliminate
* Monitor and communicate changes in FX, interest rates and/or commodity markets
* Request and consolidate global FX exposure forecasts/budget globally and prepare presentations to be shared with regions and HQ

Capital Markets

* Support capital markets transactions, including preparation of presentations for external stakeholders, management team and board of directors
* Collaborate with global tax department on internal capital structure initiatives (i.e. dividends, capital reductions, capitalizations, inter-company financings and overall restructuring)
* Support overall liquidity planning and management
* Support Share Repurchase Program
* Support Pension related activities

Overall

* Produce monthly /quarterly treasury reporting requirements
* Review and support 10Q/10K footnote disclosures for debt and pensions / research, understand financial statement implications for all treasury initiatives
* Support due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures
* Support external audit requirements
* Participate in regular meetings regarding various Treasury topics with global banking partners
* Ad hoc projects working with Corporate and Regional Treasury teams as well as cross function global groups

Your Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
* Broad finance and accounting skills with 6+ years of progressive experience with multinational companies
* Experience in Treasury with a focus in Capital Markets and/or Risk Management
* Self-starter, ability to manage a project from inception to completion
* Highly organized and works well under pressure / tight deadlines
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills with leadership abilities

It operates in two segments, Seating and E-Systems. The Seating segment offers leather and fabric products, seat trim covers, recliner mechanisms, seat tracks and foams, seat structures and mechanisms, and headrests for automobiles and light trucks, compact cars, and sport utility vehicles; and heating and cooling systems. The E-Systems segment offers electrical distribution systems that route electrical signals and manage electrical power within the vehicle for traditional vehicle architectures, as well as high power and hybrid electric systems.

This segment’s products comprise wire harnesses, terminals and connectors, and junction boxes; and electronic control modules, such as body control modules, smart junction boxes, gateway and wireless control modules, lighting control modules, and audio domain controllers and amplifiers. It also provides electrification products comprising charging systems that include onboard charging modules, cord set charging equipment, and wireless charging systems; battery electronics, which comprise battery disconnect units, cell monitoring supervisory systems, and integrated total battery control modules; and other power management modules, including converter and inverter systems.

In addition, this segment offers cybersecurity software; EXO advanced vehicle positioning for automated and autonomous driving applications; roadside modules that communicate real-time traffic information; and cellular protocols for vehicle connectivity, as well as Connexus connectivity products. Further, it provides wireless systems, such as passive entry, remote keyless entry, and dual range/function remote keyless entry systems. The company was founded in 1917 and is headquartered in Southfield, Michigan.
