Labcorp has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Talent Advisor who is up to the challenge of taking recruiting to the next level. As an integral member of the HR team, the Sr Talent Advisor acts as the trusted advisor to the client groups they support to source and identify top talent, and to guide managers through hiring processes and decisions. The Sr Talent Advisor will own specified strategies, programs, processes and policies and will work with the Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure alignment with the company goals, strategy, mission and vision.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process for a variety of positions, including senior professional, scientific and technical roles
* Source, screen, interview and assess a diverse pool of candidates for a wide range of positions within assigned client group
* Partner with hiring managers to understand recruiting needs and recommend, develop and implement innovative and cost effective staffing strategies and tactics
* Source talent utilizing a variety of methods including, employee referrals, progressive on-line sourcing tools including and niche job boards
* Consult with managers on the selection and offer process
* Serve as an internal consultant and talent advisor on best practices in recruiting to client groups. Continually research and evaluate the external marketplace to maintain an ongoing awareness of competitive practices, and leverage best practice methods and process improvements
* Participate in recruitment planning discussions with business leaders and HR Business Partners
* Assist in the development of relationships with colleges, universities and various outreach organizations such as; persons with disabilities, veterans and general outreach to diversity organizations within the community
* Research, coordinate and participate in various recruitment strategies such as career fairs, college and university recruitment programs, and diversity organizations to educate the public about job opportunities as well as attract talent
* Prepare metrics/stats, industry updates, state of the talent market and competitive landscape
* Administer, maintain and promote affirmative action plans for designated business

Requirements

B.A./B.S. Degree w/4 plus years of Human Resource experience.

Experience as a Recruiter is required, Executive Search experience a plus.

Knowledge|Skills|Abilities

* Demonstrated success in sourcing hard to fill, passive talent
* Knowledge of Human Resource practices, laws and regulations
* Knowledge and ability to build channels for candidate pipelines, to include social media, events, conferences
* Ability to aggressively market LabCorp as employer of choice to top tier candidates
* Well networked with multi-state recruiting and health care industry experience preferred
* Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-up skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of sourcing methodologies, tools and technology, as well as best practices in talent acquisition
* Ability to prioritize a high volume of high profile staffing requisitions while managing multiple projects across diverse position types and/or client groups
* Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Manager, Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to implement creative recruiting strategies to attract qualified professionals.
* Identify and attend networking activities such as career fairs, professional association meetings, technical schools, etc.
* Experience using staffing systems and tools including applicant tracking systems
* Researching/sourcing guru
