Truck Driver CDL A Home Daily- Avenel, NJ

$5,000 Sign on Bonus

Position Details:

* Transport Drivers are responsible for ensuring our products are delivered to our regional distribution centers and/or drop sites in a safe and timely manner
* Typically no-touch freight
* Consistent runs, home daily
* Performs required pre and post trip vehicle inspections and maintains all required DOT documentation (including trip electronic logs)
* Typically transporting products from our Avenel, NJ facility to various facilities including Ronkonkoma, Elmsford, and Maspeth.

Shift and Schedule

* Monday through Friday
* 4:00pm until route is finished
* Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed is required
* Home Daily

Compensation and Benefits

* Pay beginning at $20.50 / hour with a $1.00 / hour shift differential
* Average first year annual salary in the mid $50s range
* Overtime rate after 40 hours (average 5-7 hours OT in off-peak season and 10 or more hours during peak season)

Requirements

* High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
* 21 years of age or older
* Valid Commercial Driver's License A (CDL A)
* Ability to operate a 10 speed manual transmission
* Ability to maintain valid DOT Driver Qualification File
* Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
