The Customer Retention Department is unique in that it has elements of Marketing, Operations, Strategy and Advanced Analytics. The department is highly visible with the Executive Leadership and drives one of the top key metrics for DISH; customer churn rate.

? Analytics: We use the most advanced analytic tools and techniques to take viewer and customer data to analyze and predict behavior
? Operations: We partner worldwide with thousands of employee partners to execute customer save and customer investment strategies
? Marketing: We create and manage all customer communication touch points to include web, email, print, television commercials and video elements
? Strategic Partnerships: We work with all the television networks, program and talent to create large scale marketing campaigns to enhance the value of DISH to its customers

Job duties and responsibilities:

? Develop strategies to maximize existing customer profitability
? Drive programming package upgrades to increase revenue
? Mitigate programming package downgrades and cord shaving
? Customer segmentation and profitability data analysis and modeling
? Viewer measurement analytics and reporting
? Operational support for marketing and call center profitability tools
? Leverage data, financial, and strategic marketing analytics to accomplish department objectives

A successful Analyst will have the following:

? Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and 2 plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
? Strong analytical acumen
? Excel, Database (SQL), Reporting Software
? Effective written and oral communication skills
