WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Hyperion Planning & Analysis Co-op will be responsible for executing reports, preparing validations and analysis under the guidance and leadership of the functional senior manager. This role will also assist in supporting the user base of the Hyperion Planning platform across the business bridging the gap between local FP&A teams and technology. This role has the unique responsibility of working on a project based team integrated in the finance function.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

* Preference to rising junior or senior working towards a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field
* Ability to understand the importance of business processes
* Strong skills in Windows office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
* Willingness to learn theories and principles of Enterprise Performance Management applications including reporting, financial planning & analysis, and core accounting.
* Some knowledge on Hyperion Planning , Essbase, and Smartview is a plus
* Prior work, internship or co-op experience in a progressive corporate environment a plus

* Must meet the Co-op program eligibility requirements of the current college/universitys academic department and student must be approved by the college/university to participate in the Co-op program.

* Must be an undergraduate currently enrolled in the Northeastern University Co-op Program

* Must have legal work authorization in the U.S.

* Must be physically located in the U.S. during Co-op

* Must be able to work Eastern Time Zone business hours Monday-Friday

* BCG is currently allowing remote work situations in the U.S. due to COVID-19, however should this change, applicants must be able to be physically present in the BCG Boston office (if required by BCG/Hiring Manager) within a reasonable timeframe.

YOU'LL WORK WITH

The team is a cross-functional team consisting of 15-20 people with roles including business analysts, system administrators, application developers, and other functional finance subject experts and look to bridge the gap between local FP&A teams and technology and unlock the tool potential. The team is spread throughout Boston and India, and serves finance users across all BCG offices.
