Essential Job Responsibilities:

* Trailer Percentages:
* The Shipping Clerk will confirm percentages on all doors in Shipping and update the Shipping communication sheet.
* Transportation Outbound Schedule:
* The Shipping Clerk will be trained to have an understanding of the Transportation delivery schedule. This will include, but not limited to, schedule expectations, Carrier selection, trailer types, and substitutions.
* Request Changes to Schedule:
* The Shipping Clerk will partner and advise with the Shipping wing supervisor on schedule changes, due to low freight percentages on trailers requested to be closed.
* Closing Trailers:
* Quality If there is an unsafe condition, trailer door issue, or poor load quality condition, the Shipping Clerk will advise the Shipping wing supervisor of the issues.
* The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for completing all necessary moves ~~i~~ n YMS that are on the schedule.
* The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of the trailer number and seal number on the tally sheet, via both systemic and physical verification.
* YMS Empty Report:
* Shipping Clerk will run an empty report and communicate the potential shortages to the AOM and Transportation Team.
* The Shipping Clerk will update Bulk Driver Communication sheet and order new store signs for Shipping doors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Excel, Word
* Ability to self-motivate and follow through on tasks
* Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in fast paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor
* Must be able to work independently as well as within a team
* Ability to be flexible in job duties
* Must be comfortable taking direction from many different people
* Manually handle objects such as boxes and pallets up to 50 lbs
