We will look to you to direct and deliver corporate social communications across Western Union's owned channels and optimize adjacent earned or paid channels. Youll be driving corporate reputation topics in an authentic, engaging manner, and strategizing around what works on social to create clickable, relatable, and on-brand social posts. You will be involved in reporting out on our earnings annoucements to leveraging the voice of senior executive leaders' social content to promoting content from the several influential speaking events. Youll be the expert who recommends how to engage in social conversations during key moments and appropriate news cycles. Youll be monitoring and reporting regularly on the performance of content and campaigns including developing insights and recommendations. Youll manage the full-funnel social media strategy delivering best practice guidance globally and work closely with Global Corporate Communications.
For such a global, detail-oriented, highly creative role, ideally, youll have a bachelors degree in a relevant field with 3 - 7 years experience working at a large, well-branded, enterprise-level role. Youll be a communications expert with experience in enterprise-level social media content, specifically, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Corporate Blogging. Youll have strong analytic skills with practice in gathering, assessing, visualizing, and socializing information about digital/mobile/social trends, needs, and requirements from a variety of internal and external sources. Youll have worked closely with external agencies, and you stay on top of the digital newsroom information and trends. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus, as well as experience in global FSI brand or a regulated environment.

Annual base salary gross: $70,750 - $120,722. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Unions total compensation package for employees.
