Job Description

Teaches and enables Agile values and principles and tactics. Helps the team clear obstacles and remove impediments. Organizes, facilitates and supports team routines and events (as needed). Facilitates team retrospectives and enables continuous improvement. Mediates through conflicts and relationships. Helps the team to make decisions. Fosters teams self-organization. Keeps the team focused on the current Sprint and achieving Sprint goals. Supports information radiators for increased transparency. Helps team to learn from its experiences. Helps coach on story writing/splitting practices. Partners with the Product Owner on product backlog, release planning, product roadmap activities. Helps to further the Agile community within the organization. Helps the team maintain agile tools. Helps team define Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Agile technology delivery and Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) teams
- At least one year of experience in a Scrum environment

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Basic knowledge of Agile principles and practices and capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge
- Understanding of basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
- Working knowledge of the software development process design, development, test, and deployment
- Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, conflict resolution, budgeting and time management skills
- CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification a plus
