Primary responsibilities will involve the development and automation scripts and tools to deploy elements of the automation of infrastructure services as well as internal and external cloud services. As part of an agile team, the candidate will participate in sprint and release level team activities, and technical exchange meetings in support of program objectives. Additional work may be required to support development team activities during automation integration activities, this may involve interaction with application teams and other engineers to build a successful working product.
Minimum Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED and seven+ years of experience in software engineering or IT including at least four years of experience in a role in which the primary responsibility is git based application code development and/or DevOps Engineering and/or the development, maintenance, and support of CI/CD pipelines or appropriate combination of industry related professional experience and education
* Foundational cloud architecture knowledge
* Must demonstrate ability to write code
* Must demonstrate ability to construct basic application build pipeline
Preferred Skills
* Experience in either software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment.
* Be proficient using CLI with strong Terraform or Ansible experience
* Experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP Cloud technologies
* ServiceNow experience or experience working with ServiceNow APIs.
* Experience with IC Cloud Architecture implementation methodologies
* Experience with OpenShift or other container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
* Strong communications skills (both written and spoken)
* Understanding of Powershell a plus
* Understanding of Python scripting and coding (reading & writing)
* Experience with a the following (or other related tools); Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Chef, Python, Gitlab, Rally, Scrum, or Kanban
* Knowledge of Systems, Architectural, SW Development and SW Sustainment Practices
* Team Collaboration tools and administration (Jira, Confluence, Slack, etc.)
* Windows Domain Administrator of user accounts and group policy objects and Linux administration a plus
