Job Description:
The Real Estate Corporate and Investment Banking group is seeking an Analyst. This position will have ample opportunities for growth and exposure to a variety of transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, public debt issuances and advisory assignments. RECIBs client base consists of public REITs and national real estate developers and operators.

Analysts in the group create and analyze financial models, develop client presentations and conduct industry research. Analysts also serve as key members of advisory and capital raising transaction teams, providing analysis, drafting information memoranda, developing management and investor presentations and facilitating the deal process from start to finish. While prior investment banking experience is preferred, it is not required.

Truist Securities Corporate & Investment Banking Analyst Program begins with up to seven weeks of classroom instruction that consists of an introduction to capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems and financial modeling training designed to give Analysts all the tools they will need to be successful. After the classroom training, Analysts join a business group and play a meaningful role in supporting senior investment banking professionals.

The Corporate & Investment Banking Analyst position is typically a two-year position. At the end of the two-year period, Analysts may be asked to remain in the role for an additional year.

Essential Job Functions:

* Assisting senior bankers and product partners on a variety of capital markets transactions and M&A
* Critical member of deal teams helping senior bankers from deal origination to execution
* Prepare client presentations including various company and financial modeling analyses (comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, leveraged buy-out modeling, discounted cash flow modeling, etc.)

Truist Securities is headquartered in Atlanta, GA, with offices throughout the U.S. in cities including Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Memphis, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, New York, San Francisco, and Washington D.C.

This opportunity will be specifically for the Real Estate Corporate and Investment Banking group and based in Atlanta, GA.

Minimum Requirements:

* BA/BS degree
* Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
* Strong technical, writing and oral communication skills
* Highly motivated individual seeking a career in Investment Banking
* Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Some related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program

Preferred Requirements:

* Prior investment banking work experience
* Interest in working with public REITs and private real estate companies
* Strong interest in finance and investment banking
* Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework
* High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
* Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program
