Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager in our Business Excellence function to help increase productivity and overall excellence in our organization. This position with be both a process owner as well as a Project Manager and as such requires excellent communication and presentation skills as well as a focus on process improvement.

What you will do:

* Find opportunities for process improvements and share standard methodologies across Stryker
* Develop a training program to upskill the organization in business process improvement and project management methodologies and tools
* Create a Community of Practice to support and continually develop the organization in these areas
* Act as portfolio manager for functional initiatives to quantify and roll up cost and efficiency savings that result from these initiatives
* Emerge and drive the business process improvement projects from inception to benefit realization
* Manage project risks and improve the change readiness of the business
* Partner with key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure strategic and tactical alignment between teams, functions and activities
* Influence business process improvement strategy discussions with the leadership teams
* Lead brainstorming sessions and BPI discovery workshops to gather requirements and develop a creative path forward

What you need:

* Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other related field of study
* 8+ years proven project management experience
* Green Belt Six Sigma or above a MUST
* Advanced user knowledge of MS Office tools.
* Good written and verbal presentation skills, that convey clarity and brevity
* Ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure and conflicting priorities
* Adaptability in a quickly changing environment
