Title: Part-Time Student-Aftermarket & Customer Support-Milan IL - 70147

Note: With COVID-19, the job can be done remotely for the present time subject to the managers direction and timeframe. Longer term the position will be located at the physical facility.

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Companys regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.

As a part-time student for strategy and planning within Aftermarket & Customer Support, you will support the creative development and design of communications to connect company employees with the Aftermarket & Customer Support Strategy, as well as provide tactical support on various projects to support strategic initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

* Design digital content and visuals that depict the aftermarket strategy and John Deere brand for use in presentations, videos and other media; support the development of scripts for use in leadership videos, letters and live presentations.
* Proofread, edit and check communications, for color, copy and format accuracy.
* Assist with video shoots and basic post-production editing.
* Develop, update and maintain data, information and collaboration tools in team SharePoint. collaboration site. Create and configure functionality to enhance business activities.
* Provide support as needed for meetings and leadership visits.

What It Takes

* Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, public relations or similarly-related field; others may apply
* Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university
* Must be able to work onsite at the facility location (post-COVID)
* Graduation date of May 2022 or later
* Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
* 16-20 hours a week during the academic year
* 35-40 hours a week during the summer semester
* Strong, creative aptitude with demonstrated design, written and oral communication skills
* Good understanding and use of Microsoft tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SharePoint.
* Ability to be flexible, resourceful and organized in a fast-paced environment
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy

What Makes You Stand Out

* Experience with basic video editing or design experience using Adobe products
* SharePoint design experience
* Knowledge or work experience working in a business environment
