Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Developer in the Network Engineering Analytics squad, you will be creating solutions driven by our client consumers of all IBM network related data. You will be analyzing data and creating solutions that will drive business decisions as well as create actionable events to solve real time problems. You will work with a team of analytic developers, subject matter experts, and architects that are delivering solutions to keep IBM's network operational and secure.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* 1-2 plus years' experience developing business intelligence solutions to derive value out of multiple aggregated high volume data sources
Experience in entity modeling
Experience using agile methods and processes
Experience using CI/CD using automated tools and software repositories
Experience in Apache Spark, DB2/RDBMS, Jupyter Notebooks, Java, Python, SQL
Experience in data analytics, predictive analytics, mathematics, statistics, or similar field
Experience with Linux OS, shell and script programming
Experience with visualization tools like Grafana

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Knowledge of Network architecture, principles, device log formats
Experience with Solr, Impala, Kafka
Experience in data preparation, manipulation, and cleansing, in particular for large datasets
Experience with Workflow management for data ingestion
Experience using Machine Learning to find anomalies and new data patterns in source data
Knowledge of Operating System, Application and Middleware vulnerability detection and remediation
