The Senior FP&A Analyst provides financial planning and analytical support for Carters, Inc.

50% Coordinate the financial planning and consolidation of marketing and retail home office budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans

- Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to build and execute expense plans

- Provide day-to-day financial support for cross-functional business partners

- Support the consolidation and reporting of quarterly projections, Annual Operating Plan and 5-year Strategic Plan; own reporting packages for Marketing and Retail leadership

- Oversee the expense tracking of retail project spend and provide financial modeling support for strategic initiatives

25% - Support strategic initiatives and ad hoc analysis

- Prepare ad hoc analysis to enable strategic and data-driven decision making; provide direction and make recommendations to EVP Retail and senior Leaders

- Analyze business trends and key performance indicators

25% - Support retail finance functions and deliverables

- Prepare materials for key meetings (weekly retail meetings, monthly business reviews, leadership team meetings, earnings preparations, board meetings and monthly/quarterly reporting)

Experience and Skills

- Finance / accounting background with strong business acumen

- 3+ years of relevant experience

- Bachelors degree (Finance degree is preferred)

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities to meet business needs

- Driven and able to balance multiple priorities

- Good interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization

- Excellent team player who works well in a collaborative environment

- Strong analytical skills

- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills

- Ability to create and refine financial models for ad-hoc reporting and to work with large volumes of data

- Highly effective communication and presentation skills

- Proven ability to develop new processes and be creative/innovative in approach

- Knowledge of Hyperion and SAP preferred
