Product & Solutions Marketing defines marketing strategies and manages products and services throughout their life cycles to meet and exceed revenue and profitability objectives. This family identifies customer needs and conducts market research to inform marketing strategies and offerings. This family also defines pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.
Fluid Management Product Manager Accountabilities
In this role, you are the responsible for Cardinal Health Fluid Management portfolio in the US region. Products include a number of materials made in our Jacksonville, Texas manufacturing location, including many industry leading brands such as our Medi-Vac Fluid Management products. Specific accountabilities include:
* Actively manage US Fluid Management business, including product pricing, promotions, sales enablement, demand planning and competitive positioning of key features.
* Analyze the competitive product environment for Fluid Management market providers and define and executive strategies and tactics for success based on market dynamics.
* Support and develop thought leadership and awareness content and campaigns that promote the execution of best practices for disposal of Regulated Medical Waste fostering a safer environment within the hospital; complete related sales collateral and campaign support.
* Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive demand generation and growth in the US market.
* Support local and GPO pricing strategy and RFPs.
* Interface with the sales organization to support customer discussions and product inquiries/issues with customers. Work with customers directly through quarterly field rides, Voice of Customer research, advisory council events, and trade shows.
* Establish KOLs within the US region.
* Oversee tracking of financial objectives, including product line growth, profitability, market share, product life cycle and internal performance metrics (service levels, back orders, etc.)
* Provide insights on state of US market and collaborate on strategic initiatives with adjacent marketers, including Global Portfolio Management.
* Identify and recommend on new product opportunities based on market need with established business case and financial outlook.
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
* 4+ years experience in related field, preferred.
