F-35 Aircraft Modification Planning Manager
Key Role:
Direct and coordinate program activities and supportability engineering designed to provide customers, management, and subcontractors with logistics technology that ensures effective and economical support concerned for manufacturing or servicing of products, systems, or equipment. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members, as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience working in a DoD acquisition program office or Joint Program office
* Experience with a DoD ACAT 1 or 2 acquisition or modernization programs
* Knowledge of the full range of weapon system integrated logistics support
* Knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition
* Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate critical aspects of the development, production, and deployment of systems, subsystems, and equipment
* Ability to prepare and present convincing oral and written presentations to any or all levels of government and industry management to effectively prove and justify significant deviations from established logistics policy and defend necessary modifications to previously approved plans
* Active Secret clearance
* BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
* Experience in aircraft maintenance with one of the following military services: USN, USMC, or USAF
* Knowledge of USN, USMC, USAF, and other JSF participants processes to determine their effect on the course of the assigned programs
* Ability to work in conjunction with JSFPO Staff to determine the terms and conditions set forth in contract negotiations, procurement plans, budgets, and changes to the scope of work performed by the contractor
* BA or BS degree in Engineering, Logistics, Science, or a relevant technical field
