The Senior Business Systems Developer is considered an analytical/procedural expert that will focus primarily on application development within OutSystems for systemic decisioning purposes to drive the indirect auto lending business. This role will leverage technical expertise as well as understanding of the financial services industry, focusing in large part on development of a decision engine. This individual will work closely with a broad group of matrix partners, including business operations, IT, Risk, Finance/Pricing, Analytical Modeling, and Product Management, etc. to implement business requirements systemically.

Job Responsibilities

* Create and update existing decision engine application, utilizing a rapid application development platform
* Through application development assist in implementing and updating policies, process flows, data models and system integrations within the application
* Develop and manage integrations with other applications and data source providers using web services
* Interpret, design and codify business requirements from key stakeholders, both internal and external
* Recommend process optimization to allow for greater efficiency via existing and new technology
* Provide support and respond to production issues, perform troubleshooting, and initiate improvements to the overall application design
* Advise and collaborate with governance resources to create detailed application software documentation, controls, testing and governance processes
* Advise and collaborate with product managers regarding system viability and design related to implementing business requirements
* Collaborate with governance resources to develop coding and implementation standards

Qualifications

* College degree(or equivalent experience) in MIS or computer science or related field strongly preferred
* Knowledge, experience and/or certifications of OutSystems is desirable
* Knowledge of FICO Data Orchestrator a plus
* Strong technical skills in architecture patterns, solutions design and web application performance
* Ability to analyze business requirements, rapidly grasp and comprehend methods and programming used to create/extend data models, develop Web Services(SOAP, REST) and create workflows
* Strong design and problem-solving skills
* Working knowledge of Java/C, XML, and web-based languages(JavaScript, CSS, HTML) a plus
* Robust Microsoft Office Suite knowledge and expertise (i.e. Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
* Experience and comfort with Agile methodologies
* Must be detail oriented and well organized with ability to multitask
* Ability to provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise
* Knowledge of general financial concepts -- P&L calculations, amortization schedules, basic understanding of interest rates, financial metrics, pro-forma models, etc a plus
