You Will Be Responsible For:
* Administers practice and organizational policies and procedures as directed in a consistent and timely manner. Coordinates/ Evaluates daily operations of the assigned practice including clerical, clinical, specific functions and activities including information systems, accounting, human resources, payroll, material management engineering and other support services.
* Acts as a liaison between AdventHealth and other hospital staff, physicians, patients, patient families, and community/partners to investigate, respond and to resolve complaints.
* Monitors staff and equipment needs, revenue, and expenses. Stays within allocated budget, appropriately manages and reports timely via budget spreadsheet.
* Systematically provides staff with feedback regarding their performance, counsels staff as needed, documents counseling sessions, and monitors compliance.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
* Bachelors degree in Athletic Training
* Minimum two years supervisory experience required in healthcare operations managing clinical/ non-clinical staff.
* Minimum one-year outpatient experience in a physicians office, emergency/hospital department or outpatient clinic
* Current valid license in the State of Florida as a Certified Athletic Trainer
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Senior Director, the Practice Manager is responsible for the overall success of the AdventHealth Sports Concussion Program. Provides leadership, direction, administration and coordination of all practice activities and works with the Clinical Advisory Committee on those activities that directly involves professional medical judgment. Responsible for fiscal management of the practice. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
