Work Hours/Shift:

* Full-Time, Monday Friday

You Will Be Responsible For:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES A PORTION OF THE FOLLOWING):

Routine (Monthly/Annually)

* Compile monthly data required to populate reports and if appropriate dashboards.
* Reconcile and validate monthly financial and statistical data.
* Run routine audits to ensure data integrity in all reports and if appropriate dashboards.
* Create templates and reports to support annual budget review process.
* Compile and publish updated benchmark survey data.

Ongoing/Ad-hoc

* Provide financial information and/or analysis for ad-hoc financial reports or decision support needs.
* Maintain appropriate documentation and other guidelines.
* Create and/or maintain new and/or existing reports and if appropriate dashboards.
* Provide financial information and/or analysis for business intelligence initiatives.
* Evaluates financial impacts of contracts.
* Analyzes financial and/or operational information in contracts.
* Develops and tracks key performance indicators.
* Provides financial modelling, comparative analysis and bench marking.
* Provides revenue and/or expense data for budget.

Other

* Effectively collects, analyzes, and create solutions to report data.
* Interpret data and identifies data relationships and dependencies using professional experience
* Provides documentation and audit trail for all work output.
* Cross-trains with peers.
* Monitors own work to ensure quality accuracy and thoroughness with data.
* Consistently reviews and validates numerical data based on a thorough understanding of financial concepts and healthcare principles.

Qualifications
What You Will Need:

* Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems
* Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio, etc.)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst applies technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to provide solutions/improvements within the department. Responsible for completing financial and/or operational analysis of contracts, developing and tracking key performance indicators, financial modelling comparative analysis and bench marking. This person demonstrates competences in decision support and reporting through converting raw data into useful and actionable information. This person is responsible for compiling and analyzing data as well as for creating meaningful applications to support executive decision making. Character traits include: strong work ethic, trainability, communicative, team player all with a positive can do attitude. Intermediate Excel skills required.
