DESCRIPTION
AWS Marketplace is looking for a Service Management Specialist to evangelize Management & Governance solutions and integrations that enable customers to build end to end IT life-cycle management to the AWS field, customers, partners and user community by enabling AWS self-service and compliance. You will get a deep understanding of customers governance challenges, identify use cases to drive operational agility and efficiency while having the right control and visibility. This role is hands-on, data driven and get into the details, reviewing the usage patterns of ITOM/ITSM tools in the enterprise, propose solutions leveraging service management frameworks and identify how to empower DevOps and Cloud operations in an agile culture. You will also enjoy collaborating with others on targeting, branding, marketing and product roadmap activities.

Responsibilities:
Develop, conduct training and outreach to internal support teams as well as external customers.
Develop artifacts to help scale knowledge for customers, partners and the user community
Engages in senior level customer meetings to discuss customers business challenges and explores how AWS Management & Governance services can help address and resolve them.
Works with customers teams to understand their use cases and their existing solutions.
Define, builds and deploys enterprise focused sales and business development campaigns around the AWS Management & Governance services.
Collaborate with engineering teams to drive the product roadmaps.
Address bottlenecks, provide customer input, anticipate and make trade-offs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
Partner with multiple teams across multiple locations with varying sets of priorities to ensure a timely delivery of the solution.
Establish and track Management & Governance solutions/integrations adoption metrics that drive action with a continuous improvement mindset.
Clarify and drive project commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree.
5+ years working with ITSM / ITOM solutions (i.e., ServiceNow, Atlassian Jira Service Management).
10+ years of Infrastructure/Cloud Operations leadership experience in a organizations, consulting or technology partner with knowledge of infrastructure operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or equivalent relevant business experience.
Expertise with SaaS, PaaS, or enterprise-level products.
AWS Solutions Architect - Associate Certification.
Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities in the face of ambiguity.
Understanding of the DevOps model and how to drive innovation and efficiency using the cloud.
Deep knowledge and experience of enterprise service management, IT operations, and cloud migration challenges.
Prior experience of working in DevOps and the ability to write simple scripts/code would be preferred.
