As a senior developer in this office, you will design and build a service that will help large enterprise companies migrate their computing to AWS. Work/Life Balance
Outside of quarantine, our team is based in the Seaport in Boston but we understand the need for flexibility when it comes to working locations and hours. We aim to keep core office hours from 10am to 4pm with individuals free to start earlier or finish later as they please. Working from home is always an option.
At AWS, we build and operate our services so this position involves periodic on-call responsibilities. No one enjoys being paged, so we do our best to build fault tolerant systems and to ensure that we fully root cause issues so that we arent paged for the same issue twice.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of professional software development experience
3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C including object-oriented design
2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
