AWS IoT Greengrass team builds device software and web services software that makes it easy for customers to quickly and easily build intelligent edge devices, and remotely manage and operate software on their devices in the field.
We are looking for a creative and passionate senior engineer to own, build, and grow AWS IoT Greengrass web services offering. As a Sr. Software Development Engineer, you will be a lead engineer for the team and will have a key role, not only in software development and coding, but also in architecting high quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of professional software development experience
3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C including object-oriented design
2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
8+ years of software development experience
5+ years of experience leading software development teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Experience building and operating a large scale distributed system
Knowledge on AWS or similar cloud technologies.
