About the Role

As the Social Media Strategist, you will own our social media and digital strategies' strategic direction. You'll be fully responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, governance, campaigns and projects that align with, support and enhance the business and operational goals of BOK Financial Corporation. You will also manage a team of one or more individuals responsible for the day-to-day administration of channels.

What You Can Expect

Channeling your experience to direct a large scale, complex media strategy that includes multiple brands, business lines and verticals will be critical for success. You'll control activities in both content creation and the digital delivery of content through social media channels, partnering with the Marketing Managers to ensure campaigns are aligned with the business line goals.

How You'll Spend Your Time

You'll have the opportunity to create and roll-out the new brand advocacy program to amplify corporate content.
Driving decisions through data, partnering closely with the Analytics team to evaluate our ROI on social media platforms.
You'll work closely with Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, Information Security, Human Resources, General Counsel and other internal business partners to develop policies and procedures to maintain compliance with appropriate regulations.
You'll follow client and prospective client journeys to determine new leads and ways of creating campaigns with target marketing tactics.
You'll work with outside vendors and contract negotiations, ensuring the digital platforms are in place and within budget.
You'll create and maintain a reporting process to log the company's relevant social media activity, including questions and comments from followers.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: Because you are the expert, it is vital to be tech-savvy. You will need to be able to utilize digital content management tools and online systems effectively.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Effectively prioritizing tasks is a must. Experience in project management, leading multiple projects and working in a cross-functional environment is essential.

PROBLEM SOLVER: You are able to track and solve complex problems in a variety of situations and function effectively in rapidly changing or uncertain conditions.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field of study and 6-8 years of experience working in social media management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
