Become a Senior IT Internal Control Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, youll influence and design SOD compliance roadmaps for a variety of SOX applications (with an emphasis on SAP), overseeing detailed day to day work activities (conflict management), provide reporting status, integrate matrixed internal/subject matter expert representative for providing compliance technical guidance in management level compliance meetings (mitigating or redesigning business process work flows to remediate risk). You are the functional and technical expert for SOD within the SCE organization including the technology components that create the functional conflicts.

* Accountable for Segregation of Duties program which spans across the SCE organization (develop relationships between IT and other business Organization Units (OUs), influence, and working with them to ensure all processes and conflicts are adequately mitigated or remediated) and Technical Assessments (ensuring all new work, applications, programs and changes are adequately reviewed for SOX implications).
* Act independently and lead governance development and implement processes and controls to ensure compliance for SCE policies/standards and regulatory requirements.
* Advance mitigation initiatives, provide consultation, and recommend courses of action for the business; pursue courses of action within IT, and provides guidance to team members on technical and governance issues.
* Provide vision and direction to align control requirements with the Digital Utility initiatives.
* Provide strategic direction for control automation and advise team members and OU stakeholders on courses of action, guidance, collaboration, and mentoring for technical and governance requirements.

Qualifications
The essentials

* Ten (10) years of experience in IT Operations, IT Auditing, IT Compliance, IT Controls and /or Business Operations.
* Three (3) years of Segregation of Duties (SOD) conflicts experience.
* Experience in performing Risk Management and IT Security assessments.
* Experience leading teams in SOD Governance and mitigations, risk assessments, internal controls, compliance reviews and/or process improvements and provided recommendations.

The preferred

* Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
* Bachelor of Administration or Science degree in Computer Science or Business Administration.
