We are currently searching for a Paid Media Audience DMP Manager with an analytical, strategic, and operational mindset to join our Marketing Information Management team. This person will be responsible for the development and execution of targeted, personalized audiences executed through the Data Management Platform across a variety of display and paid search publishers. This role is the primary subject matter expert for the Data Management Platform (DMP) for North Americas Above The Line and Below The Lines acquisitions advertising across Retail Bank, Mortgage, and Cards.

This role manages data and audience strategy and provides subject matter expertise and best practice on data management, including technology related to media enablement of data strategy. This includes data management platform, data vendor dashboards, and media tools for audience planning development. Provide support to fulfill near and long term goals as they relate to audience and data strategy development. This position will work directly with a variety of constituents including Marketing Strategy (ATL & BTL, Digital), Media, Decision Sciences, Risk Management, Technology and Legal/Compliance to prioritize, align and deliver marketing campaign activities covering all digital paid media channels. This position will be responsible for contributing to digital marketing capabilities and supporting the roadmap for implementation in a strategic way. You will contribute to the capabilities utilization through the delivery of a sound operationalization strategy and pilot execution plan.

You can expect:

* To work on growing and maintaining the cross-channel digital audience management practice that enables Citis paid media (programmatic display and paid search) and Citis owned media (Citi.com, Citicards.com, email) strategies for the North America Consumer
* Drive new capabilities, segmentation, and testing to further the reach of Citis consumer-centric marketing strategy
* A cross-discipline environment where you will interact with subject matter experts across analytics, modeling, creative ops, and technical teams
* To be challenged with finding innovative ways to connect data to a consumers full digital path of engagement and to sell-through your ideas in a highly matrixed environment
* Create and maintain project status updates with internal and external stakeholders; ensure project completeness and pacing. Communicate updates cross-team weekly.
* Adhere to strict compliance and regulatory controls; maintain accurate and complete documentation and maker/checker

As The Paid Media Audience DMP Manager, you will:

* Drive Audience Strategy and Consultation
* Collaborate with marketing peers and agency on audience strategy, aligning with overall advertising goals and strategy
* Determine most efficient and transparent ways of reaching audiences through data based on campaign KPIs
* Continuously assess data vendor strengths and weaknesses
* Provide POVs on specific vendors or data categories
* Bring forth new opportunities that are being presented in the data and DMP marketplace
* Present potential new publisher ideas to provide access to more transparent and higher quality data
* Negotiate below-market deals with data providers to deliver cost efficiency

* Manage Data Management and Activation
* Build 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audience segments in DMP and syndicate to DSP platforms for activation
* In conjunction with agency, confirm appropriate audiences are activated in DSP platforms
* In conjunction with agency, confirm media campaigns are tagged properly with DMP pixels and tracking correctly in DMP UI
* Work with data vendors on building new custom audiences and/or lookalike models specific to campaign KPIs, when appropriate

* Execute Data Optimization & Insights
* In conjunction with agency, optimize audience strategy to KPIs
* Provide audience performance analysis and recommendations for future strategy
* Pull audience discovery reports from relevant tools and technology (DMP and data partners) to determine high-indexing audiences

* Create and maintain all 70+ live audiences each quarter in the DMP. Create audiences, ensure accurate delivery of audiences, monitor audience stability, and optimize audience levers to drive performance.
* Track completion of tasks in a compliant, audit-friendly format. Adhere to all audit practices and controls.

* You can utilize quantitative and qualitative thinking to manage campaign success
* You are comfortable working in a team environment supporting multiple stakeholders
* You have a passion for online advertising
* You enjoy data and insights and have a passion for continuously testing and learning
* You have a clinical attention to detail

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree required in a business or technical field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a Data Management Platform (DMP): Oracle Bluekai or Salesforce Audience Studio/Krux preferred
* Experience in digital media planning and optimization
* Strong demonstration of development and communication of senior management level presentations
* Desire to work in a fast-paced, task-focused, team environment involving technical and non-technical individuals is essential
* Strong initiative and self-starting approach, and ability to operate effectively in an organizational climate of frequent change
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Experience with Digital media tech stack (DMP, DSP, Ad Server, Addressable TV)
