The Treasury GPO/Transformation Office works closely with stakeholders to define, drive and execute an end-to-end process design and implementation efforts across Treasury activities, including global Treasury groups, Finance functions, Chief Data Office (CDO), infrastructure partners and business partners in ICG and GCB. This is a business analyst position playing a central role in Treasurys data strategy execution and is the opportunity to work on projects that are tightly linked to firm wide data quality improvements.

Responsibilities

* Work closely with process owners and product SMEs in a Data Steward role across Finance; taking ownership of data quality improvements
* Working with Line and Program managers to define Treasury data operating models and processes
* Partner with technology stakeholders to conduct data diagnostic efforts and investigate root cause of findings
* Work with groups across the organization to design, document and implement enhanced quality controls
* Create project artifacts; business and functional requirements, user acceptance documents, procedures
* Creation and tracking of milestone tasks; raise risks and issues as needed
* Assist in the evaluation of controls framework working with Risk and Controls on corrective action plans
* Facilitate status meetings with appropriate teams on data quality issues (incl. senior management) and lead remediation efforts
* Work with groups across the organization to document data attributes, data lineage and process maps
* Establish and publish Data Quality metrics and scorecards to support Process Owner
* Collaborate with Process Owners to ensure that appropriate Data Quality rules and controls are in place within their processes (including for CDEs)
* Coordinate with the Business Process Owners and Data Custodians to develop and implement Detective and Preventive Data Quality Controls covering Scorecards, Data Quality Exceptions and Data Tracing.
* Participate in BCBS 239 control reviews and actively seek to improve data accuracy therein
* Facilitate in the adoption of the Citi Data Management Policy
* Perform detailed analysis on data outputs from various technology platforms across Citi business lines
* Ensure solutions are designed with simplified operating models and with strategic architecture in mind

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other advanced degree is a plus;

* 7+ years working in the financial services industry is required
* Broad experience of Finance or Operational/Technology function within Banking organization.
* Outstanding analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills with ability to break challenges into component parts is critically important
* Practical experience of relational database management, front to back system data flows, data handling, transmission, aggregation and data modelling.
* Demonstrated experience of working with financial products life cycles and associated data needs
* Specific knowledge of Treasury function: Liquidity, Interest Rate in Banking Book (IRRBB), Risk Weighted Asset (RWA) or Forecasting is an advantage
* Strong written and verbal communications skills, including ability to present to senior management
* Strong Influencing skills with the ability to mediate discussions and draw consensus
* Ability to lead and drive change through creative thinking and pragmatism
* Can do attitude with ability to work around challenges and uncertainties
* Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and plan / prioritize appropriately
* Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations, including a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests
