Job Description

The team is responsible for driving all aspects of change management related process automation and transformation of the manual control environment for the US Consumer Bank franchise. The mission is to simplify, improve and measure GCB NAM processes by delivering enhancements to the control environment, the customer journey and employee experience using Lean Six Sigma process design techniques and digital automation. We focus on delivering sustained, long-term business benefit and risk reduction to the US Consumer Bank by accelerating progress.

We are looking for an experienced professional to drive strategy for the US Consumer Bank Change Program. This leader is an integral member of the leadership team who will work with work stream leads to define and create robust control digitization and transformation strategies, leveraging lean reengineering frameworks to drive enhancements to risk management and operational controls. Growth, profitability, and competitive success for Citi in the face of evolving regulatory landscape and consumer behavior are additional measures of success. Additionally, this manager will serve as a thought leader across cross functional domains to synthesize, develop and communicate enhancements to business objectives. Flexible skillsets to manage a range of tasks to include, deep project management expertise, advanced analysis, organizational design, business goal definition, analyzing end to end data driven process reviews, ad hoc performance analysis and coordination and leadership across enterprise change/transformation programs.

Responsibilities:

* Acts as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and addresses high impact strategic issues across its portfolio of businesses. Work in close partnership with business heads and senior leadership.
* Identify opportunities and issues of strategic importance to the business.
* Develop transformational strategies to grow and re-position businesses.
* Drive change by partnering with business leadership with clear accountability.
* Provide clarity in complex problems, facilitate decision-making, and guide high value investments.
* Lead projects across their lifecycle: identifying and structuring the problem, analyzing root causes, developing solutions, communicating project results, and obtaining buy-in for change.
* Manage all aspects of client service, including planning, prioritizing and organizing projects.
* Develop and strengthen relationships with executives across the business.
* Identify opportunities to add value beyond the scope of formal projects.
* Contribute to continuous team improvement and management, e.g., provide leadership in recruiting, coach junior staff, etc.
* Management responsibility for a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.
* Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
* Driving strategic planning and strategy development across the Change Program.
* Maintaining the 2021 Change roadmap alignment across all Change Program projects.
* Maintaining and championing the operational rigor and innovation across all Change Program projects.

Qualifications:

* 10-12+ years experience in people management.
* Relevant experience in strategy consulting.
* Previous project management experience: project planning & execution, client and team member management.
* Intellectual and analytical capabilities. Ability to influence the organization and to affect change up to the most senior levels. Efficiently solves complex, ambiguous problems/situations.
* Problem solving skills, sound business judgment, and demonstrated result orientation.
* Outstanding analytical and quantitative capabilities; history of academic and professional excellence and achievement.
* Creativity thinking; thinks outside the box and above and beyond conventional wisdom.
* Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
* Collaborative work style; effectively interacts with partners across organizational boundaries/hierarchies.
* Displays a leadership presence; commands respect and will earn trust of senior leaders.
* Multi-tasks productively and reliably, while managing conflicting priorities.
* Business builder capable of creating vision and motivating a geographically dispersed team.
* Good understanding of the different banking products.
* This position may be able to sit at any Citi site or telecommute.

Education:

* Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
