Job Description

The Transaction Capture Rep 3 is an entry level position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to traders, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team.The overall objective of this role is to maintain position records and provide support with processes surrounding securities.

Responsibilities:

* Work within Syndicate Middle Office in CMO and CIB team supporting pricing, settlement and final account processes.
* Manage the life cycle of these products through to settlement. Liaise with the respective support partners to ensure smooth settlement and accurate risk
* Work with cash management, Treasury Ops and Product Control
* Review controlled processes for complex final settlement to provide transparency to the business and Operations
* Review daily control reports targeting patterns of exceptions and implement solutions to remove/reduce these
* Work with CMO, CIB and Operations in processing all primary new issuances
* Provide support for transactions of basic complexity within established systems and procedures, under direct supervision
* Monitor, analyze and/or evaluate processes and data and escalate all requests / inquiries / issues / errors in a timely manner
* Develop a basic understanding of risk and controls, and errors and the associated risk to the bank, etc.
* Develop a basic understanding of products, processes, and Bank related systems within immediate work group
* Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

* 1 year of experience in a related role
* Efficient and effective with numerical tasks and transactions
* Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
* Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills
* Basic understanding of the importance of minimizing risk, reducing errors, and adhering to audit and control polices

Education:

* High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelors degree preferred
